White House Press Corps Confronts White House Spokesman about the Administration "Controlling the Press"

A few weeks ago, during the White House Press Conference after the President's Speech on Health Care Reform, it was discovered that the President called on two reporters that the White House "Planted" with "Pre-approved" questions. This outraged the White House Press Corps.

According to an Article on the Washington Post recently, during a 'Town Hall Meeting" on Health Care, it has been discovered that a woman that asked an emotional question about her health Problem and was hugged by the President, was another "Plant". Come to find out that the woman was an Obama Volunteer. As a Matter of fact the only people called on to ask questions were from Organizations that support Obama, including Unions.

It appears this trend is finally being noticed by the White House Press Corp and has angered some to a boiling point.

Yesterday a video came out that showed Helen Thomas, one of the oldest and longest standing Reporters in the White House Press Corps, along with another reporter, confronted the White House Spokesman, Robert Gibbs, about the apparent attempt to "Control the Press". Here is the Video:

Now don't get too excited folks, this is good news but the Reporters have been standing by applauding the Obama Administration for quite awhile. If the White House had not "Planted" the 2 reporters in the Press Corps, Helen Thomas and the others probably would not be saying a darn thing about the "Plants" in the Town Hall. The Reporters are offended that the Administration did something to them......But if something happens to us...they could care less.

But at least it's a start...
